A man who was 28 years old died after being hit by a car on Friday night. He was trying to cross U.S. Highway 19 in Pasco County. The accident happened just before 9:30 p.m. The man was from Holiday. A Ford Focus hit him while he was crossing the road. Sgt. Steve Gaskins gave this information.

The man driving the car was not hurt in the accident, as stated in a news release from the highway patrol. Sadly, a man from Holiday passed away in the crash.
