A Rockford, Illinois man faces murder charges after allegedly stabbing a Walmart employee, 18, to death on Sunday.
According to Rockford police, the call came in around 6:00 p.m. at the Walmart located on Northridge. Upon arrival, officers found an employee suffering from a stab wound in the back.
The employee was taken to a local hospital, where he died of his injuries, Police said.
The suspect has been identified as 28 year old Timothy Carter of Cabery, IL. He has been booked into the county jail on suspicion of murder in the first degree.
The investigation showed that Carter did not have a relationship with the victim. Police are considering additional charges against Carter.
