A Chicago man from Alsip has been arrested for the alleged shooting death of another man on the city’s South Side. The incident occurred in the Bronzevil area of Chicago, and the arrest comes after nearly seven years since the incident.

24-year-old Antonio Dickerson is charged with 1 count of felony murder, 6 felony attempted murder and 6 felony aggravated battery/ discharge of a firearm

Police identified Dickerson as a perpetrator who was involved in the shooting death of a 28 year old male on August 8, 2017 on East 37th Street between East 0-100.

Chicago police arrested Dickerson on Tuesday and charged him with felony larceny. He was booked into the Alsip jail on the same charges.

His detention hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
